The traditional social structure where a woman was the homemaker is being rapidly transformed into a new one as more and more educated women are stepping out of their homes to pursue careers. An MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, Suman dreams of a top position in her company. But marriage to Kunal and the birth of her daughter changes her life goals. Meenakshi Kumar has a Master’s degree in Business Management from Symbiosis, Pune. She wrote her first book Everyday Vegetarian Cooking with nutritional details and kitchen management tips. The novel In the Game of Love; One Step Forward, Two Steps Back is her second book and a work of fiction. She has worked on writing projects under the banner of Words Matter(s), and writes for her own blog: foodntraditions.blogspot.in. She has also contributed short stories for an international e-journal. She is an active member of All India Women’s Conference (AIWC).She stays at New Delhi with her husband and two sons.
