About the Book

The book tracks the life of the top eight women - their struggle and their success in breaking the glass ceiling. It has a chapter each on business women who have made success stories surpassing the Indian entrepreneurial landscape to reach out to global audiences. It features India’s richest women Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Kalpana Morparia, Naina Lal Kidwai, Neelam Dhawan, Ritu Kumar, Swati A Piramal, Vinita Bali and Vandana Luthra.

About the Author

The author, Prerna Kaul Mishra, was born in Kashmir and completed her early education at the Presentation Convent, Srinagar. She did her postgraduation in Journalism from the Maharashtra University and started her career with The Times of India, Mumbai. During the past 14 years, she has done business reporting for The Indian Express and The Hindustan Times, primarily covering the Information Technology sector. 

Presently, she is Deputy Editor with the Online Edition of The Economic Times.
