Aaron Micah is elevated to a Bishop. His origin is shockingly traced back to the Pulaya (Untouchable) community. This book attempts to bring to the fore the below-the-surface caste tensions prevalent among the Syrian Christians of Kerala. Christianity preaches equality among all but its followers do not follow the tenets. About the Author

Ulahannan Thoppil is an alumnus of FMS Delhi and a former Chief Administrator of the India Program of the United States Catholic Conference under the PL 480 scheme. Earlier, he was the organiser and first General Secretary of District Youth Congress, Kottayam besides being the Chief Editor of Yuva Sabdam, (Voice of the Youth) a Youth Congress publication
